Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness but have the light of life.” John 8:12
I think what the Lord says: “I am the light of the world” is clear to those who have eyes to share this light, but those who have no eyes other than those in the flesh alone are surprised by the words of the Lord Jesus Christ: “I am the light of the world”.
