To the extent that the body enjoys asceticism, it has communion with its spirituality. As it burdens the soul with food, it attracts the soul to its weight and binds the wings of its thoughts. As for its lack of weight, it easily submits to the will of the soul, and the soul attracts it to everything it chooses.
